The Businesswomen's Association has been awarding bursaries to deserving
post-graduate (women) students, since 1988.
The funds are generated from the
profits of the Annual Businesswoman of the Year Award (held since 1980) and are
awarded to students across South Africa.
As the largest businesswomen’s association in the Southern hemisphere with
our vision to inspire, grow and empower ALL women, we are excited to award this
bursary to one of Free State deserving candidate, Mrs Celestine Brummage of
(SAB), who is studying towards her M.Soc.Sc (Master’s in Psychology -
Research)
“Ms Brummage has submitted a summary of her research approach based on
clearly interpreted, accepted and recent references relevant to the topic.
She has proposed a theoretically sound indication of how results will evaluated
citing academic references to prove the value of the processes to be
followed. Her proposal has already passed assessment and been accepted by the
faculty’s committee (UFS). The results of her study will contribute towards
insight of value to the subject group and the company she is employed by (SAB).
Ms Brummage will conduct her study in the Free State and she is known to
the
BWA as a participative member” said one of the bursary adjudicator, Dr Jopie van
Rooiyen.
The bursary is awarded for studying in the following year 2011.
