Ferose Oaten - Regional Business Achiever Awards
Ferose Oaten is the National Vice-President of the BWA, and has recently stepped down as the Cape Town Chairperson. She is the Managing Director of AVTS Roadworthy Stations, a chain of vehicle inspection centres in and around Cape Town. She serves as the President of the Retail Motor Industry, and when she was elected in 2007, was the first woman to lead the organisation in the 98 years of its existence. She is passionate about the empowerment of women.
Zahida Ebrahim
Zahida has seven years of experience and specialises in immigration law, with particular emphasis on immigration requirements of multinational companies. She also practices insurance litigation. Zahida earned numerous merit awards at university, after which she practiced in insurance and commercial litigation before commencing practice in Immigration Law. Zahida has written the chapter on immigration issues for Labour Law for Managers: A Practical Handbook, as well as for Getting the Deal Through’s Labour and Employment Law publication.
