1. WELCOME

Vani Moodley (chairperson) welcomed everyone to the meeting and thanked Private Wealth management for the use of their boardroom.

2. PRESENTATION

Sean Leary (Private Wealth Management)

Sean gave a brief presentation on Private Wealth management and their holistic approach to financial planning.

Minutes read were from 22 July 2003. No AGM took place in 2004 and 2005.

There were no matters arising

9. CHAIRPERSON?S REPORT AND ADOPTION

Vani Moodley read the chairperson?s report. Copies were distributed to all who attended. Report was adopted by Tina Thomson.

10. TREASURER?S REPORT AND ADOPTION

The 2004/5 financial statements were distributed to all. Margaret Kruger, committee member prepared the treasurer?s report as the branch treasurer Ms Bea Campbell-Young has relocated to Johannesburg and therefore resigned from the committee.

Report was adopted.

Mathabo Kunene urged everyone to promote the BWA wherever they go as there are wonderful opportunities available for women within the BWA.

There being no further business to discuss, the chairperson declared the meeting closed.

14. PRESENTATION

Presentation by Nombuso Afolayan, General Manager of Grindrod on her life experience in achieving her current status as General Manager of Grindrod, opportunities that women owned SMME?s can access from Grindrod and a message to women regarding positioning in the economy.
