Vani Moodley welcomed three new members, current members, guests, committee, and Monique Labat to the meeting.

8. CHAIRPERSON?S REPORT AND ADOPTION

Vani Moodley read the Chairperson?s report. Copies were distributed to all attendees and will be made available on the BWA website.

9. TREASURES REPORT AND ADOPTION

The 2005/2006 audited financial statements were distributed to all attendees. Margaret Kruger, the treasurer prepared the treasurers report. Nazira Osman read the report as Margaret Kruger was unable to attend the AGM

Presentation: Monique Labat

Monique Labat, the General Manager of Trade Point Durban was the guest speaker. Monique Labat addressed the topic on ?The importance of business information and how to source it?.

Monique presented a number of ways to capture the best opportunities for business through the use of Electronic Trade opportunities and Global Trade Directories. Monique presented, Trade Points opportunities for SMME?s looking to export their products.
