After 5 years of work experience in the industry she opened her own company NT Design Box finishing the Olive Convention Centre and working on entertainment projects such as the Galleria Skating Rink. Her love for design guided her to start Black Ginger, a body accessory company for jewelry and gift sets. The company trains and employs women from rural KZN to do manufacturing, quality finishing and packaging. This helps alleviate the many poverty problems within the province as these women are breadwinners and need to adapt their craft skills to be more contemporary with the changing cultural trends of the consumer market. This is her first time on the BWA committee and she hopes to bring influence and to be active in empowering women of KZN in creating a concrete beacon for socio economic development.

Yasmeen is the Treasurer of BWA in the Durban region. She is a qualified chartered accountant, and holds a Masters degree in Financial Accounting and a Masters degree in Taxation. After qualifying as a chartered accountant, she joined SARS as an integrated field auditor for a period of six years. During her time at SARS, she worked on a variety of different types of taxpayers, ranging from listed companies to individuals and trusts. She joined KPMG in June 2008 to head the Tax practice of KPMG in the KwaZulu-Natal region. Yasmeen is the vice-chairman of the SAICA Tax Committee in the Eastern Region. She writes tax articles for several media publications and journals. Dana Juta founded and directed CAPITAL CREDIT CONTROL (PTY) LTD for 17 years in which time she expanded the business to three branches, Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town, managing and leading thirty people.  In this time she founded and directed CAPITAL BUSINESS TRAINING SERVICES  (PTY) LTD that conducted a wide range of training services within the debt collection sector and related industries.  Dana served in the role of chairperson  of NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) in Durban for four years and was instrumental in the merger between NAWBO and two other women's organisations.  She subsequently served as Vice Chaiperson of the Businesswomen's Association during its start-up phase in Durban.  Mrs Juta was the Business Development Executive of ENARRO PROPERTY (PTY) LTD and currently heads up ENARRO JEWELLERY (PTY) LTD, retailing gold and diamond jewellery.
