Reporting to the Board of the BWA, and based in Johannesburg, the successful incumbent will be responsible for providing leadership to the organisation and ensuring sound management and administrative processes within the strategic and accountability frameworks established by the Board.
Duties include, but are not limited to, planning and coordinating the daily operation of the BWA, establishing goals, objectives and policies, overseeing the BWA's financial structure, investigating and negotiating sponsorships, joint ventures and new projects, establishing effective communication throughout BWA and representing the BWA with major sponsors, members, the financial community, and the public.

• Experience in the managing of finance within the framework of good corporate governance
Qualifications and Experience• BA, B Com, BBA or other undergraduate qualification
• Experience or qualification related to strategic and organisational development, business development, human resource management including performance management and coaching public relations, marketing or branding, financial management, fundraising social development /social science or managing an NGO.
The successful applicant shall be appointed on a performance contract for a period of three (3) years, which contract may be renewed at the discretion of the Board. More about the BWA can be found on our website

The remuneration package will be on a cost to company basis of R 350 000 per annum. The incumbent will be expected to commence duties on or as soon as possible after 16 August 2010.
